Welcome Message
Thank you for visiting the website for the Malaysian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology and Neurocritical Care (MSNACC). As the first President of the MSNACC, it is my great honour to welcome you here. On the 28th of May 2021, our society was officially formed, by a group of like-minded neuroanaesthesiologists and anaesthesiologists with special interest in the perioperative neurosciences. With this platform we wished to educate for the improvement of perioperative care in the field of neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care – to teach, to guide, and to cultivate research interest.
The Malaysian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology and Neurocritical Care (MSNACC) was officially formed on the 28th of May 2021. This was the natural next step when more and more anaesthesiologists with special interest in perioperative neurosciences from public, private and university hospitals in Malaysia were gathered in the Neuroanaesthesiology and Neurocritical Care Special Interest Group under the auspices of the Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologists. The MSNACC is a non-profit professional body that remains very close in affiliation with the College of Anaesthesiologists, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia.
Through its small but growing number of members, MSNACC aims to facilitate educational activities and development of guidelines on neuroanaesthesiology and neurocritical care in Malaysia. MSNACC also organises educational programme, formal attachments, workshops, international and national conferences, and local training platforms, all for the betterment of perioperative neurosciences in Malaysia.
